Joshua Kenley Lee, 29, died January 1, 2021.

Joshua was born in Nash County on October 2, 1991, the son of Randy Alvin Lee and Tammy Keeter Lee, both whom survive.

Joshua was a 2010 graduate of Roanoke Rapids High School, where he played on the football team.  He enjoyed fishing and hunting with his friends.  He was a history buff, and enjoyed reading particularly about the Civil War.   He attended Victory Baptist Church.

Survivors include his father, Randy Lee; and mother Tammy Lee (Chris Godsey); maternal grandmother, Marie Keeter; special cousin and friend, Justin Medlin; aunts and uncles, Ken and Teresa Keeter, Cheryl and Edmond Dixon, Ricky Lee, Ann Nicholson; cousins, Brooke Hlavsa (Bruce), Jessica Lee, Ricky Lee, Jr., Jacob Dixon (Kendall), David (Chelsea) Dixon, Thomas and Melissa Dixon, Ashlee Thompson (David), Morgan Powell (Jordan), Dillon Keeter; as well as other cousins and extended family.

Joshua was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Alvin and Gloria Lee, and his maternal grandfather Howard Kenley Keeter.

The funeral service for Joshua Kenley Lee will be conducted at 11:00 am Wednesday, January 6, 2021, from the graveside at Quankie Baptist Church cemetery, with Pastor Jeremy Kobernat presiding.  The family will greet friends there following the service.

Guests are asked to observe social distancing and masking recommendations.
