William Leon Vinson

William Leon Vinson, 59, of Buttercup Lane passed away Monday, October 17, 2016 at his home.

William was born February 19, 1957 in Halifax County to the late Albert Lee Vinson and Melba Christine Jones Vinson.He was also preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Vinson; and his brother, Lee Vinson.

He loved his family, playing his guitar and his dog.He was very smart, a jack of all trades and there was nothing he couldnt do.

William is survived by his sisters, Wanda Carroll of Roanoke Rapids, Lore Podruchny and her husband Larry of Halifax and Wendy Vinson of Henderson; his nieces and nephews, Richard Carroll, Michael Carroll, Tony Taylor, Jr., Britne Podruchny and Blake Arrington; his great- niece, Brooklyn Carroll.

A memorial service to celebrate Williams life will be held Sunday 2:00 P.M. at Trinity Pentecostal Holiness Church, 4235 Aurelian Springs Road, Halifax.The family will receive friends other times at the home of his sister, Lore Podruchny..
