William Haywood Lynch

William Haywood Lynch, 73, died Sunday morning at Nash General Hospital in Rocky Mount..

Mr. Lynch was born in Halifax County November 6, 1937 to the late Wade Ransom Lynch and Betty Lou Evans Lynch.

Surviving is his wife of fifty-five years, Mittie Richardson Lynch of the home, four daughters, Renita Williams and husband, Gurnell, Sr. of Philadelphia, PA, Mitzie Potharaj and husband, Vijay of Pennsburg, PA, Regina Lynch of Norfolk, VA, and Chantay Lynch of Philadelphia, PA; nine grandchildren, Anastacio, Gurnell, Jr., Jenelle,Giavanna, Majik, Jaya, Javan, Vishaal, and Roshitha; fourteen great grandchildren and many family and friends.

The family will receive friends Saturday morning, June 4th starting at 9:00 am until 11:00 am at Faith Baptist Missionary Church where funeral services will begin at 11:00 am. Officiating will be Pastor Linwood Richardson. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
