William Edward Lenz

William Edward Lenz, 83, of Littleton passed away Sunday, March 16, 2025, at ECU North Hospital in Roanoke Rapids, NC. Bill was born in Detroit, MI on February 20, 1942 to the late William Garrett Lenz and Mildred Yarger Lenz. He is preceded in death by his brother George Lenz and sisters Patricia Lenz and Mary Lou Lenz.

Bill was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Lenz, his sons William Timothy Lenz (Laurie) of New Jersey, David Edward Lenz (Lea) of California, and daughter Christine Mueller (William) of New Jersey; grandchildren Thomas, Kristyn, Matthew, Shiloh, Jesse, Jade, Benjamin, and Nathan; great grandchildren Jaylin, Toby, Finn, and Benjamin.

Bill was retired from the Associated Press after a career spanning 40 years. He was an avid Amateur Radio enthusiast, belonged to the Twin City Gun Club, he belonged to the Knights of Columbus and faithfully served at his Church.

Services will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. on March 26, 2025 at 11:00 AM
