William Russell Keith Nowell

William Russell Keith Nowell, 59 of Roanoke Rapids passed away on Friday, November 1, 2024 in his home.  Mr. Nowell was born in Halifax County on March 24, 1965, the son of the late Doris Plyler.  He worked as a meter reader for the Roanoke Rapids Sanitary District.

Surviving include his wife Sharon Hollowell Nowell, his children Heather Ridley (Brandon), Matthew Manning (Kayla), and Kim Wheeler (Hunter), his brothers, Mike Plyler (Kim), Albert Morris (Susan), and Ronald K. Nowell and his daughter Harley Rae Nowell, his grandchildren Kalvi “KV” Walker, Natalie Walker, Matthew Manning, George Manning, Jasiyah Brown, and Annesleigh Wheeler, his special family members Debbie Britt, Wanda Taylor and their families, his pet Diamond, and many other extended family members.

A Celebration of Mr. Nowell’s life will be held at 7:00 PM on Monday, November 4, 2024 at Good Samaritan Baptist Church with Dr. Dennis W.
