William Stanley Brantley

William Stanley Brantley, 63, died Wednesday, July 14, 2021 in his Roanoke Rapids home.

Mr. Brantley was the son of Willie and Mary Kathryn Hatchell Brantley, both of whom preceded him in death.  He was born September 20, 1957 in Halifax County.  He was a retired carpenter.

Survivors include his son, Nick Brantley (Adrienne); his daughter, Stephanie Nycole Brantley; Granddaughter, Kayla Casper; sisters, Tammy Spragins (Wally) and Sheri Rightmyer (Ray); uncle, Major Hatchell (Corrye); longtime friend, Richard Leigh Mayton; his former wife, Mary Mayton Brantley; as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Brantley will be cremated. No public service is scheduled to be held at this time.
