Walter "George" Weatherwax

Walter “George” Weatherwax Jr., 56 of Roanoke Rapids, passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2022 in his home.

Mr. Weatherwax was born on March 15, 1966, the son of the late Helen McCarty and Walter George Weatherwax, Sr.

He was also preceded by his siblings Tom Weatherwax and Tammy Weatherwax.

Surviving include his wife Marcia Edmondson Weatherwax; his two sons:  Matthew Weatherwax and Jesse Weatherwax; his sisters Lisa Bateman (David) and Karen Spring (Dusty); his brothers Steven Boyce, Ronald Boyce (Laura), Glenn Boyce (Bonnie) and Raymond Boyce (Linda); Step-mother Gerlina Weatherwax.

A Graveside service will be held Friday, January 6, at 2:00 PM in Cedarwood Cemetery with Dr. Dennis Gregory Sr. officiating.
