Vickie Rae Todd

Vickie Rae Jenkins Todd, 72, of Roanoke Rapids passed away Monday, June 26, 2023, at her home.

Vickie was born in Halifax County to Troy Lee Jenkins, Sr. and Ernestine Constance Jordan Jenkins. She was preceded in death by her father and her brother, Robert Jenkins.

Vickie is survived by her mother, Ernestine “Teenie” Jenkins; her children, Marty Rowell (Susan) of Garysburg and Sheri Jordan (Randy) of Roanoke Rapids; her brother, Troy Jenkins, Jr. (LaDonna); her sister, Debbie Wilson (Bobby); her grandchildren, Stacey (Kyle), Tracie, Danny, Luke, Alston and Jackson; her great-grandchildren, Elliott, Dawson, Alexander and Lucas and numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews; special friends, Terry Mabrey, Jody and Debbie Wheeler and Norma Wright

Vickie was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She was a wonderful cook and loved to read when she was able. Vickie also enjoyed taking care of everybody and was a very giving person as evident by her last gift of donating her body to science.
