Vanessa Gail Bayne, 66, died Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at Vidant North Hospital in Roanoke Rapids.
Vanessa was born, October 11, 1954, at Ft. Eustis in Virginia, daughter to the late George William Hampton and Lila Irene Thompkins Hampton.
Surviving are her son, Rodney Balser and daughter-in-law, Tiffany A. Hertzog.
The family will have a service to remember Vanessa's life at a later date.
