Tommy Ray Wrenn

Tommy Ray Wrenn, died Monday, March 25, 2013 at Kindred Healthcare in Roanoke Rapids.

Mr. Wrenn was born March 27,1948 in Halifax County to Hattie Norwood Wrenn and the late James Parker Wrenn.

He was a member of Anioch Baptist Church. He loved the outdoors and hunting. He also loved his job as a Supervisor with the North Carolina Department of Transportation.

Mr. Wrenn is survived by his mother: Hattie N. Wrenn of Roanoke Rapids; his son: Michael Todd Wrenn of Roanoke Rapids; his stepsons: Larry Pepper and Wesley Pepper and his wife Joy, and their son Wesley Pepper, Jr.; his sister: Patricia W. Newman and her husband Herbert Boo of South Hill, VA; his niece: Angela Kinker and her husband Bill; his nephews: Herbert Newman and his wife Tammy and Parker Newman; his great nieces: Whitney Newman, Natalie Newman and Haley Kinker; his great nephews: Nathan Newman, Alex Kinker and Tyler Taylor.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 P.M. Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service with Roy Porter officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 3:00 P.M. prior to the service and other times at his mothers home. Burial will be private in the Grant Family Cemetery..
