Todd Davis

James Randall Todd Davis, 27, died June 21, 2019 at home.

He was born in Halifax County on August 18, 1991 to Donald Ray “Turtle” Davis Jr. and Tracy Edwards.

Survivors include his mother and step-father, Tracy and Jason Wilmouth; father, Donald R. “Turtle” Davis, Jr; brothers, Michael May (Beth), Nicholas Davis (Linda), Jay Wilmouth, Joshua Wilmouth and Joshua Thompson; grandmother, Frances Edwards; nieces, Jami May, Alexandria May, Maci May, Alexa Scott and Makinzi Davis; nephews, Joshua Lopez, Bobby Stevenson, Jr.; and fiancée, Margaretta Askey.

James was preceded in death by his step-father, Jamie Norris; grandparents, Grady Edwards, Donald “Dozzy” Davis, Sr and Gloria J. Davis; uncle, Jody Norris; and aunt, Tammy Mooney.

His family will have a private memorial service on Thursday at Freedom Free Will Baptist Church.

A public memorial service for his friends and extended family will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2019 beginning at 2:00 pm until, at the home of his mother, Tracy Wilmouth, at 1447 E. Chaloner Drive, Roanoke Rapids.
