Timothy Norman Pittman, 55, died Wednesday, March 2, 2016, at Vidant Health Center in Greenville.

Timothy was born in Halifax County, July 20, 1960, to the late Benjamin Thomas Pittman, Sr. and Annie Pittard Pittman. In addition to his parents, Timothy was preceded in death by his brothers, Benjamin Thomas Pittman, Jr. and John Wilson Pittman.

Surviving are his sons, Timothy Eric Pittman of Fort Eustis, VA, Jeffrey Pittman and Joshua Pittman, both of Roanoke Rapids; sister Anne Mason of Wilson and his grandchildren, Allyssa Pittman and Timothy Levi Pittman.

The family will receive friends at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service Sunday, March 6, 2016, from 5-7 pm. Rev. Sid Collins will conduct funeral services at Hawkins Chapel United Methodist Church Monday, March 7, 2016, at 12:00 noon with interment to follow in the church cemetery.
