Timothy Wayne "Bubba" Newton Jr

Timothy Wayne Bubba Newton, Jr., 24 of Hinson Street, Roanoke Rapids died Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC.

Mr. Newton was born May 15, 1988 in Wake County, North Carolina to the late Timothy Wayne Newton, Sr. and Dale Moore Newton Carter. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his sister: Danielle Carter; grandmother: Naomi Copeland; great grandmother: Edna Dickens.

Bubba loved everyone, loved life, he especially loved his daughter and all of his family. He was a great husband, father, grandson, son and brother.

Bubba is survived by his wife Heather Newton; Daughter: Adriannah Newton both of the home; mother and step-father: Dale Carter and Ricky Carter of Roanoke Rapids; Paternal Grandparents: Connie and O.G. Smith of Centerville, NC; Maternal Grandfather: William Moore and wife Beatrice of Whitakers, NC; brothers: Matthew Newton of Clayton, NC and Troy Carter of Roanoke Rapids; sister and brother-in-law Ashley Newton and Brandon Evans, Sr. of Roanoke Rapids; Nephews: Brandon Evans, Jr., Jeremiah Evans and Kevin Evans all of Roanoke Rapids; Niece: Savannah Davis of Goldsboro, NC; Aunt: Kim Bachelder of Centerville, NC.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, August 6, 2012 at Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service with Rev. Norwood Starling officiating. Burial will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, August 5, 2012 from 7:00-9:00 P.M. at the funeral home and other times at the home..
