Thomas Dixon Petty, Jr.

Thomas Dixon Petty Jr, 93 of Henrico, NC passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family on Saturday October 12, 2024.  He was born on December 21, 1930, in Tazewell County, Viriginia.  He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Anne Frances Petty and his sister Nancy Virigina Girod

He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Judith Bailey Petty, his sister Glenda Carole Estep of Bluefield Virginia, his nieces Bonnie Bennington Zimmer (Joe) of Melbourne Florida, Lisa Anne Jones (Mark) of Tallahassee Florida and Susan Lynn Mauro of Melbourne Florida.

Thomas served his country in the United States Air Force.

The family will hold a memorial service later.
