Thomas Earl "Tommy" Holloman

Thomas Tommy Earl Holloman, 72, of 911 Franklin Street, Roanoke Rapids, died Wednesday, January 20, 2010, at Beaufort County Hospital in Washington, N. C.

He graduated from Roanoke Rapids High School, attended Durham Institute of Barbering becoming a licensed North Carolina barber. He also graduated from William Carter Evangelical Theological Seminary.

Mr. Holloman was born December 24, 1937, to the late William Clyde Holloman and Ella Lassiter Holloman. He was also preceded in death by his brothers: Doug, James and Calvin Holloman, and a sister: Annie Stewart.

He is survived by His daughters: Michelle Holloman Haybarker and husband Robin and Angela Renee Holloman, of Goldsboro; three sisters-in-law: Maxine Holloman, Edith Roughton and Ezelle Pepper of Roanoke Rapids;and manynieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 23, 2010, at Old Cedarwood Cemetery, with Rev. Arnold G. Cooper officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to the American Diabetes Foundation, 1701 North Beauregard Street, Alexandria, VA 22311.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:30 2:30 P.M. at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service.
