Tammy Wiggins Powell

Tammy Lynette Wiggins Powell, 57, of Gaston died December 18, 2018 at her home.

Tammy was born in Pitt County, NC on May 12, 1961, the daughter of David Albert and Lucille Burroughs Wiggins.  She loved her family, and was a hard worker. Tammy was most recently employed as a waitress.

She is survived by her daughters, Brandi Powell Porter and husband Kelvin, of Chocowinity, and Casey Lynn Powell of Gaston; her sister, Margie Norris and husband “Sonny” of Gaston; and her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Josie, Matthew, Joseph, Caleb, Samuel, Gage, Savannah, Ricky and Hunter.

Plans for a memorial service to celebrate Tammy’s life will be announced at a later date.
