Stanley Wayne Hancock

Stanley Wayne Hancock, 47 of Gaston passed away Monday August 7th, 2023.

Mr.Hancock was born on April 2nd, 1976 in Emporia, Va. He was the son of Betty Ann Hancock. Following her passing he was adopted and raised by his grandparents Gracie Marie Carroll Hancock and Isaac Perry Hancock.

He is survived by his wife Nina Marie Hancock, his daughter Anna-Marie Paige Hancock, his son Briar Wayne Hancock, his sister Frances Parrish (Tom) , his aunt Francis Carroll and other extended family.

He had many lifelong friends and brothers and sisters from Free RIders Crossroad Originals motorcycle club. He was a project manager for Moseley Electric. He loved hunting and being outdoors. He loved to ride his motorcycle any chance he could get. He loved his family and friends and helped anyone he could.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, August 12th, 2023 at Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service. The family will receive friends and family prior to the service beginning at 11:00 AM.
