Stacy Lynne Dixon

Stacy Lynne Harrup Dixon, 59, of Roanoke Rapids passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at Vidant Medical Center.

Stacy was born August 16, 1961 in Emporia VA to Lewis Harrup and Elaine Bowen Harrup. She was preceded in death by her brother, Eddie Harrup and was the widow of Donald “Donnie” Earl Dixon, Jr. who passed away August 19, 2020.

Stacy was a 1979 graduate of Brunswick Academy.

Stacy is survived by her parents, Lewis and Elaine B. Harrup of Emporia, VA; her children, Scott Dixon and his fiancé Kaylan, Brooke Dixon and her husband Chris Schmitt both of Roanoke Rapids and Meighan Perez of Virginia; her sister, Christy Harrup of Greensboro; her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Savanna and Ethan Schmitt.

A memorial service to celebrate Stacy’s life will be held at 6:00 P.M. Saturday, August 29, 2020 in the chapel of Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service with Rev. Sue Owens officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
