Shirley Chandler Moore

Shirley Ray Chandler Moore, 72 of Gaston, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 in UNC Medical Center.  Mrs. Moore was born on April 4, 1950 in Providence, NC, the daughter of the late Savannah Osborne and Raymond Chandler.  She was a member of Gaston Church of Christ.

Surviving include her husband Carlton Ray Moore, Jr., her brother Calvin Chandler (Dela) of Roanoke Rapids, her sister Charlotte Haymore (Donald) of Danville, VA, and her grandchildren Brett Moore (Ashley), Austin Moore (Sara), and Murcas Moore.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, February 19 ^th , 2023 in Hockaday Funeral & Cremation with Rev. Wayne Marshall officiating.  Burial will follow in Crestview Memorial Cemetery.  Friends may sign the online register by visiting www.hockadayfs.com .
