Shawn Travis Rose

Shawn Travis Rose 58 of Roanoke Rapids, NC passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday March 2, 2024.  Shawn was born on March 9, 1965, in Halifax County.  He was preceded in death by his father Floyd C Rose, his wife Sharon Rose, his brothers Timothy L Rose, Tommy Rose, Jerry Wayne Rose and stepbrother Timothy Deberry.

He is survived by his sons Travis Rose and Jonathan Rose, his mother Blanche (Paul) Deberry, grandchildren Trent Collin Rose, Carter Joseph Rose and Alexia Kay Rose, and other family members Ashley Bowen, Kimberly Gilbert, and Craig Deberry.

Shawn was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday March 6, 2024, at 1:00pm in the Hockaday Chapel with the interment in Cedarwood Cemetery following the service. Pastor Mike Little will be conducting the service.

Visitation will be Tuesday March 5, 2024 at Hockaday Funeral and Cremations 7:00pm to 9:00pm.

Family will receive visitors at 505 Pinecrest Ave, Roanoke Rapids.
