Sharan Kay Clements Rose

Sharan Kay Clements Rose, 50, passed away at her home on Bush Ct. Friday, June 28, 2013.

Mrs. Rose was born August 10, 1962 in Halifax County, NC to the late Carter Neal Clements and Agnes Lucille Davis Clements. She worked at Halifax Regional Medical Center in the Information Systems Department for over 20 years. She fought a hard battle against cancer. She will be missed by all of her family and friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by both sets of grandparents, and two uncles, Richard and Tom Clements.

Surviving is her husband, Shawn Rose of the home; two sons, Travis Neal Rose and fiance, Barbara, of Roanoke Rapids, Jonathan Wayne Rose, of the home; one sister, Lisa Norton and husband, Jack; grandson, Trent Rose and grandson on the way, Carter Joseph Rose; mother-in-law, Blanche Rose DeBerry and brother-in- law, Tim Rose of Scotland Neck; nephew, Robert Norton and niece, Lindsay Norton; uncles, Nat Clements and wife Betsy, Bobby Clements and wife, Dereda; aunts, Betty Westberry and Margaret Clements. Also surviving are many special cousins, family members, and special friends at Halifax Regional Medical Center and church family. A special mention to a very special person, Carolyn Porch, who was her cousin and caregiver.

The family will receive friends Monday, July 1, 2013 at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service from 7-9 pm. Funeral services will be conducted by Michael D. Little, Pastor in the chapel at Hockaday at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery.
