Ryland Henry Grizzard, Jr.

Ryland Henry Grizzard, Jr., 83, of Henrico, NC passed away May 7, 2024, at the Retreat Doctors Hospital in Richmond, VA.  Hank was born April 11, 1941, in Wake Forest, NC to the late Ryland Henry Grizzard, Sr. and Pearl Blanch Smith Grizzard.  He is also preceded in death by his sisters Lois Jean Bivens and Priscilla Adams.

After graduating from Southampton High School, Hank attended Fork Union Military Academy and East Carolina University.  Hank proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and also worked for the government as an electronic Technician.  He also attended the Holy Neck Christian Church.

Hank is survived by his wife Mary, his son Troy Davis Grizzard (Cheri), his brother Terry Lynn Grizzard (Bettie), his grandchildren Todd Carter and Lacey Kronander (Kevin), his great grandchildren Kierstyn, Lilly, and Kendall.
