Ruby Isles Wells

Ruby Isles Wells, 77 of Hwy 48, Littleton passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at her home.

Ruby was born November 20, 1937 to the late Hubert H. Isles and Pattie Hawkins Isles.She was also preceded in death by her longtime companion and friend: Bob Clark.Ruby was a member of Tabor United Methodist Church. Ruby was a loving mother and friend to Brenda, she loved sewing, making clothes, cooking and canning. She retired from Halifax County School System as a cafeteria worker.

Ruby is survived by her daughter: Brenda Wells of the home; her nephew and nieces: H.L. Liles and his wife Barbara of Zebulon, Barbara Ann Green and her husband Henry of Roanoke Rapids, Rose Marie Inscoe and her husband C.D., Jr. of Littleton, Ava Etheridge and her husband Johnny of Youngsville, Linda Pittard and her husband Douglas and Jenny Sue King both of Littleton; her special family Robert Clark and his wife Patricia, Sue Turner and her husband Charles, Sam Clark and his wife Linda and Johnny Clark and his wife Debbie; number of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; special friends: Janet Aycock and Faye High; special caregiver: Barbara Vincent.

Funeral services will be held3:00 P.M. Friday, August 14, 2015 at Tabor United Methodist Church with Rev. Sid Collins officiating.Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 8:30 P.M. Thursday at Hockaday funeral and Cremation and Service and other times at the home.
