Ronald B Simpson

Mr. Ronald B. Simpson, 70, passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at Gordon Hospice House in Statesville, NC.

Ronnie was born in Roanoke Rapids, son of the late Verney W. and Lucille Finch Simpson.He attended Roanoke Rapids City Schools, and served in the U.S. Air Force.

In addition to his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by half-brothers, Edgar Harold Simpson and George Carlton Finch; half-sisters, Elaine S. Kniffen and Donna S. Tuttle; brother-in-law, Isaac D. White and great-uncle, Roy S. Finch.

Ronald is survived by his sister, Helen S. White of Roanoke Rapids, and half- brothers, Kenneth W. Simpson, of Maggie Valley, NC, and Louis R. Edwards, of Roanoke Rapids and Florida, and sister-in-law, Sylvia C. Finch of Raleigh, and several nieces and nephews.

Interment will be in Cedarwood Cemetery, with private graveside services.The body will be in repose at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service.
