Ronald Mack Rhea

Ronald Mack Rhea, 77, of Roanoke Rapids, passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2024 in Emporia Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.  Mr. Rhea was born on November 7, 1946, the son of the late Hazel Brown and Mack White Rhea.   He is also preceded by his sisters Phyllis Hasty and Janet Turner.

Mr. Rhea served our country as a member of the United States Army.

Surviving include his wife Victoria Nelms Rhea, his two sons:  Clayton Wayne Rhea of Roanoke Rapids and Ronald Seth Rhea (Amanda) of Enfield, his daughter Felissa Marie Rhea (Johnny) of Louisburg, his brother Robert Rhea of Roanoke Rapids, his brother-in-law James Hasty of Roanoke Rapids; and his grandchildren Landin Edwards, Mackenzie Edwards, Laurissa Edwards, Cole Edwards, Alexis Bednarczyk, Noah Rhea, and Stormie Rose Rhea.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 7, 2024 in Quankie Baptist Church with Dr. Lavelle Waters officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall.  Memorials may be made to Quankie Baptist Church, 4070 Highway 48, Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870.  Friends may sign the online register by visiting www.hockadayfs.com.  Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service is serving the Rhea family during this time.
