Ronald Simon Dickens

Ronald Simon Dickens I, 78 born December 18th, 1946, of Roanoke Rapids, NC formally of Scotland Neck, NC passed away on December 31st, 2024. He is preceded in death by his parents Simon Noble Dickens and Nina Lero Basden-Dickens and his infant sister Victora Dickens of Scotland Neck, NC.

He is survived by his devoted Wife of 42 years Trang H, Dickens, son Ronald Simon Dickens II and wife Angela of Sharpsburg, MD, daughters Kristen T. Dickens and partner Rachel Spence of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Jennifer A. Dickens-Rossi and Carlos Rossi of Roanoke Rapids, NC.

In addition, he leaves behind 3 Grandchildren Bryce A. Dickens and wife Lexie, Abigail V.M Dickens-Francella and Husband Brian, and Giovanni Rossi along with 5 Great Grandchildren Payson, Cameron, Parker, Amelia, and Bryleigh.

He retired from Paul Bruce Manufacturing in Scotland Neck, NC where he was known for his hard work and dedication.

Due to the impeding weather predicated for Saturday the Services will be held in the Hockaday Chapel at 1:00pm, Pastor Jason Yeatts presiding.
