Robert Walter Johnson

Robert Walter Johnson, 40, of Gaston, passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, in his home.  Mr. Johnson was born on July 31, 1984, in Roanoke Rapids, NC.

Mr. Johnson enjoyed riding side by sides, gaming, paintball, and fishing.  He also served our country as a member of the Untied States Army.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Mack Johnson, Sr., his paternal grandparents Walter and Edna Johnson and his maternal grandparents Robert and Bessie Bowen.

Surviving include his mother, Vicky Bowen Johnson, his son Brandon Cole Johnson, his daughter Rilee Nicole Hafer, his brother Richard Mack Johnson, Jr., his sister Megan Marie Johnson, several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, September 23, 2024, in Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service with the Rev. Russ Collins officiating.  Burial will follow in the Carroll Family Cemetery in Littleton.  The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 22, 2024, from 7:00 – 9:00 PM at Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service.  Friends may sign the online register by visiting www.hockadayfs.com.
