Robert "Bob" Collins

Robert (Bob) Stewart Collins 86, passed away, Sunday February 14, 2021, at his home with his wife by his side.

Bob was born in New Bern, NC on September 29, 1934 to Aubrey and Ethel Collins. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sons Bobby and Sean and his daughter Lisa.

He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Betty, his sister Patricia Kennedy, his daughter Pamela (Norman)Miller, his step daughters Tracy and Shelly Miles. He is also survived by his 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Bob graduated from Fishburne Military School; and also served in the Army. He was Public Works Director for the City of Havelock when he retired in 2003.

There will be a graveside service at Quankie Baptist Church, Roanoke Rapids NC at 1:00 pm, Saturday February 20, followed by visitation at the church fellowship hall.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Havelock.
