Ricky Cieslinski

Richard Kevin “Ricky” Cieslinski, 54, of Roanoke Rapids died Sunday, September 15, 2019 at Halifax Regional Medical Center.

Ricky was born in Traverse City, Michigan on August 2, 1965, the son of Gail Gray Cieslinski and the late David L. Cieslinski.

He moved to the Roanoke Rapids area in 1978, and had worked diligently in the family owned mobile home business before becoming an electrician.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.  Ricky was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.

In addition to his father, Ricky was preceded in death by a nephew, Jonathan Cieslinski.

Survivors include his mother, Gail Cieslinski; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Katie Cieslinski; brothers, David Cieslinski and wife Jackie, Brian Cieslinski; sister, Theresa Cieslinski; grandchildren, Luke and Nora; nieces and nephews, Zack, Kaley, Amy and Carah Cieslinski; and his

step-mother, Ann Harris.

Friends may visit with the family from 6:00 -  8:00 pm Friday, September 20, 2019 at Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service.

A memorial mass will be offered at 11:00 am Saturday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, with Fr. Michael Butler presiding. Entombment will follow in the church columbarium.

Following the service, guests are invited to a reception with the family in the church parish hall.
