Richard Lynn Pulliam

Richard Lynn Pulliam, 59, died Thursday April 25, 2013 at UNC Hospital-Chapel Hill.

Mr. Pulliam was born in Halifax County, February 13, 1954, to the late William Oscar Pulliam and Nellie Rose Evans Powell. He worked for a number of years with Costal Lumber in Roanoke Rapids.

Surviving are three brothers, Jerry Pulliam and wife, April, of Lasker, Bobby Pulliam, and Bill Pulliam and wife, Pat, both of Roanoke Rapids; two sisters, Betty Cole of Yale, VA, and Rita Medlin and husband, Jerry of Halifax. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and his family at Our Community Hospital in Scotland Neck.

Josh Medilin will conduct funeral services Sunday, April 28, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service where the family will receive friends prior to service beginning at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow in Crestview Memorial Cemetery.
