Raymond Allen White

Raymond Allen White, 80, of Lasker, North Carolina passed away at his home on June 19, 2026. He was born on December 19, 1945, in Halifax County. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents Allen and Cecil White, brothers Thomas White, Cliff White, sisters Eloise Springmann and Shirley White.

He is survived by his daughters Tammy Lassiter (Paul), Lara White-Farmer (Scott), grandchildren Blake Lassiter Williams (Colt), Noah Lassiter (Mallory), Carolyn Crouch, James Anderson, Haley Farmer, Bobby Farmer, Michael Farmer, great grandchildren Danny Williams, Thomas Crouch, Braelynn Williams and sister Linda Matthews.

Raymond was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather; he served his country in the Army National Guard where he retired with over 20 years of service, he also retired from the North Carolina Department of Correction (Rivers Correctional Institution formerly Caledonia Correctional Institution). Raymond was a member of Twin City Gun Club, NRA lifetime member, he served as a sniper on the Prison Emergency Response Team (P.E.R.T.) and was on the NC Rifle Team that won many competitions

The family will receive friends and family on Tuesday June 23, 2026, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Services. Graveside service on Wednesday June 24, 2026, at 11:00am in Cedarwood Cemetery. Pastor Dr. Dennis W. Gregory Sr. presiding.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that you make a donation to Northeast Academy or Roanoke Rapids High School Shooting teams.
