Raymond Lewis Stansbury

Raymond Lewis Stansbury, 90 of Littleton, North Carolina, passed away peacefully at ECU North surrounded by family on Friday July 3, 2026. Raymond was born on October 6, 1935, in Roanoke Rapids, NC. He was preceded in death by his parents Claude and Patty Stansbury, sisters Dorothy Dickens and Margaret Griffin.

He is survived by his significate other of 50 years Cindy Adkins, daughters Margaret “Judy” Taylor (Mike), Sherri Stansbury (Mirza Zukanovic), grandchildren Gene Martin, Michele Martin Havlin, Noah Zukanovic and great grandchildren Echo, Shay and Kael.

Raymond was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. He loved his family, fishing, in which he won many tournaments that he fished, he could fix anything and enjoyed working on stuff.

There will be a graveside service on Wednesday July 8, 2026, at 1:00pm in Rocky Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery 3347 Heathsville Road Littleton, NC 27850. Pastor Jason Yeatts presiding.
