Raymond Lister Davis

Raymond Lister Davis, 83, of Roanoke Rapids passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at Vidant North Hospital.

Raymond was born August 4, 1938, in Northampton County to the late Ernest Davis and Mamie Jenkins Davis. He was also preceded in death by his son, Robin Davis; his grandson, T.J. Davis; three sisters and one brother.

Raymond was a loving husband and father. He was a hard-working man and would help anybody that needed help, he had a big heart. Raymond was also a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles.

Raymond is survived by his wife, Gladys Simmons Davis; his son Tracy Davis and his wife Kim; his grandchildren, Randi Lynn Davis and Amanda Nicole Davis Willis and her husband Adam; four great-grandsons and two great-granddaughters.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at Crestview Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Richard Newton officiating. The family will visit briefly following the service.
