Randy Lee Norwood

Randy Lee Norwood, 68, died September 28, 2022 in his Roanoke Rapids home.

Randy was born September 26, 1954, in Halifax County, a son of Joseph W. and Irene Marshall Norwood. His parents, and a brother, Wallace Norwood, preceded him in death.

He enjoyed fishing and playing pool.  Randy was a retired automobile parts service manager, having worked for various area businesses throughout his career.

Randy is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Maranda and Jeremy Gregory; grandchildren, Jacob Wheeler and Kayla Gregory; his sister, Gloria Pearson; brothers, Michael Norwood and his wife Jane, and Charlie Norwood and his wife Cheryl; several nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

The memorial service to celebrate the life of Randy Lee Norwood will be held at 6:00 pm Tuesday, October 4, 2022 in the chapel of Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service.  Pastors Randy Martin and Jamie Taylor will preside.  The family will receive friends following the service.
