Randy Eugene Daniel, 43, and formerly of Roanoke Rapids, died Saturday June 28, 2014 at Vidant Edgecombe Hospital in Tarboro.

Randy was born September 28, 1970 in Halifax County to John F. Daniel, Sr. and Maybell Hux Daniel. He is preceded in death by his father.

Surviving is his mother, Maybell Hux Daniel of Roanoke Rapids; brother, John F. Daniel, Jr. and wife, Connie, of Dallas, TX; sisters, Marsha Daniel and friend, Mark Gainey, of Raleigh and Linda Gail Coley and friend, Tom Renshaw, of Roanoke Rapids; nieces and nephews, Paige Nicole Daniel, Bradley Jackson Daniel, Crystal Sitzanis, Steven Rose, Christopher Coley, and Jonathan Coley. Also surviving is special uncle and aunt, Jeff and Sheila Casey and special friend, boss and mentor, Raymond Caine, all of Roanoke Rapids, and other great nieces and great nephews.

Rev. Randy Martin will conduct a memorial service to celebrate Randys life, Monday June 30, 2014, at 5:30 pm at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service.
