Perry Lee Swails

Perry Lee Swails, 58, died December 27, 2012 at Halifax Regional Medical Center.

Perry was born February 19, 1954 in Jesup, GA to the late Leonard Swails and Rosa L. Spell Swails. He was a pipe fitter by trade. In addition to his parents, Perry is preceded in death by his sister, Bonnie Mitan.

Surviving is his daughter, Jennifer Watford and husband, Brad of Holly Springs, NC,; four brothers, Leonard Swails of Jesup, GA, Harold Swails of Mobile, AL, Robert Swails of Jesup, GA, and Brett Swails of Roanoke Rapids; four sisters, Lawanna Mena of Pottsville, PA, Maxine Blowe of Garysburg, NC, Rita Kittrell of Pottsville, PA, and Linda Glidden of Elizabethton, TN. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Reed and Luke Watford of Holly Springs, NC, and his faithful lab, Sonny.

A memorial service will be conducted by Lawanna Mena, Minister, at the chapel in Hockadays, Monday, December 31, 2012 at 11:00 am.
