Perry Wilson Parks, Jr.

Perry Wilson Parks, Jr. 47, formerly of Roanoke Rapids, died December 27, 2020 at his home in Rocky Mount.

Perry was born October 7, 1973 in Halifax County, the son of Perry W. Parks, Sr. and Aldine Cobb Parks.  His mother preceded him in death.

He was a career law enforcement officer, most recently serving in Roanoke Rapids.   Perry attended Calvary Baptist Church.

Survivors include his father, Perry Parks; wife, Kelly Jones Parks; sons, Camden Parks, Jacob Jones, Landon Warren and Easton Edge; daughter, Kirklyn Parks; and brother, Jeffrey Parks.

Friends may visit with the family from 3:00 – 5:00 pm, Sunday at Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service.

The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 pm, Monday, January 4, 2021 at Roanoke Rapids First Pentecostal Holiness Church, with Pastors Randy Martin and Matthew Smith presiding.  Interment will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery.  Police honors will be provided by the Roanoke Rapids Police Department.
