Penny Darlene Allen, 61, of Roanoke Rapids, passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, October 13, 2026.

Penny was born on February 2, 1965, in Roanoke Rapids, the daughter of the late Linda Kaye Edwards and Lewis Earl Allen.

Penny leaves behind her husband, Morry “Moe” Allen Clark; her children, Leslie Nicole Jerusha Brooks and David Earl Allen (Jami); her aunt, Alice Edwards Cullom (David); and her beloved grandchildren, Axton Lee Stahl and Cortlin Reed Stahl. She was also looking forward to the arrival of another grandchild, Baby Allen.

A funeral service to celebrate Penny’s life will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 16, 2026, at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service, with Reverend Sue Owens officiating. Burial will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery.

The family will receive friends prior to the service, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, at the funeral home.
