Peggy Hawkins Twisdale, 87, of Roanoke Rapids, passed away on Monday, July 6, 2026. Mrs. Twisdale was born on October 19, 1938 in Enfield, the daughter of the late Edna Mae Pittman and Milton Everette Hawkins. She was the widow of the late Bobby B. Twisdale.

Surviving include her two sons: Bobbie B. Twisdale, II (BB) and spouse Debra Ralston of Stuarts Draft, VA, and Milton E. Twisdale (Mike), and spouse Kimberly Twisdale of Virginia Beach, VA, and four grandchildren.

A Graveside Service will be held at Elmwood Cemetery in Enfield at 1:30 PM on Monday, July 13, 2026 with Reverend Jason Yeatts officiating. Friends may sign the online register by visiting www.hockadayfs.com. Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service is honored to serve the Twisdale family.
