Patricia "Snookie" "MawMaw Pat" Harris Harlow

Patricia Harris “Snookie” “MawMaw Pat” Harlow, 76 of Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina passed away at ECU Health in Greenville on Sunday December 14, 2025. Patricia was born on March 2, 1949, in Halifax County. She was preceded in death by her parents Melvin and Mamie Harris and sister-in-law Frances Bowser.

She is survived by her husband Charlie “Buddy” Harlow, daughters Belinda Bradley (Donald) of Gaston, Shannon Lassiter (Chris) of Roanoke Rapids, Tracy Bowen (Steve Moseley) of Roanoke Rapids, Jessica Baird (Calvin) of Littleton, stepson Lance Harlow (Alexa) of Wendell, stepdaughter Toni Harlow (Javi) Henderson, grandchildren DJ & William Bradley, Austin & Dalton Lassiter, Haillei, Matthew & Skyler Bowen, Jacob, Summer, Elizabeth, & Jaxon Baird, Remington & Atlas Harlow, Jocelyn, EJ, Sylvia, LaLa, & Bo Harlow, Katie & Bradley Moseley, brother Melvin Vernon Harris (Lisa) of Roanoke Rapids and sisters-in-law’s Mary Mozingo (Troy) of Roanoke Rapids and Lois Jones of Roanoke Rapids.

Patricia was a loving wife, mother and “MawMaw Pat”, she was a substitute teacher for Halifax County Schools, Place to Play at Roanoke Rapids City Graded Schools.

The family will receive friends and family on Friday December 19, 2025, from 7:00pm to 8:30pm at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service and at other times at the home of Shannon Lassiter 1401 Georgia Avenue Roanoke Rapids. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday December 20, 2025, at 2:00pm in Hockaday Chapel, Pastor Tony Smith presiding with the interment to follow at Gardner’s Baptist Church Cemetery (968 Church Hill Road) in Macon, NC
