Patricia Johnston

Patricia Lynn Murphy Johnston, 66, of Roanoke Rapids passed away May 7, 2023, at Duke University Hospital.

Patricia was born April 7,1957 in Williamston, NJ to the late Raymond Ernest Murphy and Dorothy Mullahy.

Patricia is survived by her husband Michael Eugene Johnston; her children Clem Simone, Joseph Simone, Keith Murphy, Amanda Simone; her brother Charles Murphy; and grandchildren Chloe Murphy, Mason Edward Murphy, Kyle Murphy, Julianna Simone, Elsie Simone, Joseph Simone, Taylor Locker, and Chris Locker.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM Thursday, May 11,2023 at Hockaday Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6:00PM – 7:00 PM prior to the funeral service.  A graveside service and interment will take place Monday May 15, 2023 starting promptly at 11:00AM in Cross Keys United Methodist Church Cemetery, 1648 N.
