Norma Jean Conner Clemmons

Ms. Norma Jean Conner Clemmons, 73, died Friday evening, March 26, 2021 at WakeMed Hospital in Raleigh.

The daughter of William Thomas Conner and Marianne Irish Conner, Norma was born April 22, 1947 in Flushing, NY.

Norma was a member of Community Church of Christ.  She was a nurse’s aide, retiring from Carolina Rest Home after over 20 years of service.

She is survived by her daughters, Christina Hedgepeth and Wanda Moylan (Kerry); her son, Herman Munn, Jr.; a sister, Rose Grant; grandchildren, Justin Moylan (Ashlyn), Kelsey Moylan (Amanda Guido), Tawny Munn, Jonathan Hedgepeth (Katelyn), and Tyler Hedgepeth; great-grandchildren, Evie Moylan, Brock Hedgepeth, Kannon Hedgepeth, Arianna Nida, and Octavia Hedgepeth.

The family will receive friends from 12 noon until 1:30 pm on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service.

The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm Wednesday from the graveside in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery, with Minister Earl Cain presiding.

Those attending are asked to observe mask and social distancing recommendations.
