Nelson Wayne Brett 84 of Halifax, NC passed away at his residence on Monday November 13, 2023. Mr. Brett was born on July 2, 1939, in Northampton County, the son of the late Euclid Brett and Ellie Johnson Brett.

He is survived by his wife Peggy Fuller Brett of the home, sons Mike Brett of Charlotte, NC and Mark Brett of Greenville, NC.

He was a mechanic by trade, loved working in his vegetable garden and watching NASCAR.

Family will receive friends on Thursday November 16, 2023, at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation from 3:00pm to 4:00pm.
