Nellie May Vincent

Nellie Vincent, 79, of Willow Street, Roanoke Rapids, entered the gates of heaven and her eternal destination to be with God and her husband Paul Melvin Vincent on Tuesday, November 28, 2023.

Nellie was born in Emporia, VA on February 20, 1944to Howard Smith (Tom Thum) and Thelma Allen Smith. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Howard Smith; his daughters, Sue Smith and Theresa Smith.

Nellie was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church and loved going to church with her family. She loved to work, and she loved to eat.

Nellie is survived by her son Keith Vincent and his wife Amy; her grandchildren, Tyler Garner (Chasity Simmons), Brittany Vincent and Aliyah Hux; her nephews, Mike Clark and his wife Loretta and Robbie Robbins and his wife Stephanie; her great niece and nephew, Lindy Arthur and her husband Austin and Mike Clark, Jr.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday at Crestview Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Wayne Marshall officiating.
