Nellie Dickens Brantley

Nellie Dickens Brantley, 93 of Alpharetta, Georgia died Tuesday October 6th, 2009.

She was a member of Monumental Methodist Church in Portsmouth, Virginia. She was a Christian Lady,

Attended church all her life. She was a very giving person she would give you anything she had,

Always helping people, good sense of humor. Everyone she

met loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents , Napoleon Pon Bonaparte Dickens and Mary Alice Hamiell and husband Robert R. Brantley.

She is survived by her son, Bobby Brantley and wife Emily of Alpharetta, GA , grandchildren Lynette Jean Brantley Horton and husband Greg of Woodstock, GA and Melissa Mulvihill and husband Patrick of Brentwood CA , great grandchildren Hanna Horton and Marley Mulvihill of Brentwood, CA. One uncle Rufus Spear Dickens of Littleton, NC and a Special Niece Susan H. Capps of Roanoke Rapids, NC and a number of other special nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Saturday, October 10, 2009, from 12:30 to 1:30 P.M. at Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of the Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Formo officiating.

Burial will follow in the Dickens Cemetery in Littleton, NC.
