Nancy Ann Wehner

Nancy Ann Wehner, 80, of Tom Willey Street in Gaston died Saturday, July 6, 2019 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.

Nancy was born October 5, 1938 in Baltimore, MD, the daughter of Elizabeth Jordan and Joseph Matthew Wehner.  She moved to the area in 1984. She was a homemaker and loved music.  She was an active member of, and played the organ at, Grace Baptist Church.  Nancy was also involved with the Gaston Fire, Rescue and EMS Auxillary.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Edward A. Porter, Jr (Marilynn); daughter and son-in-law, Kathy Clark (Jimmy); brothers and sisters-in-law, Ed Wehner (Cindy) and Joe Wehner (Joan); 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Friends may visit with the family from 6:30 until 7:00 pm Tuesday at Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service, with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 pm in the Funeral Home Chapel.  Pastor Wesley Agee will preside.

Mrs. Wehner will be cremated following the service and interment will be held privately.
