Myrtle Lee Radford

Myrtle Lee Radford, 92, died Friday, April 8, 2011 in Goldsboro at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

Mrs. Radford was a Halifax County native born June 30, 1918 to the late Thomas Smith and Lizzie Harrison. She was a homemaker and attended Fellowship Church of Praise in Rocky Mount, NC. She loved her family, who love her and will miss her dearly; you will always be in their hearts.

She is survived by twelve children, thirty grandchildren, thirty-five great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.

The family will receive friends, Sunday, April 10th at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service from 7-9 pm. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 11th in the funeral homes chapel at 11:00 am, officiated by Rev. Dalton Coppedge, with interment following in Cedarwood Cemetery, Roanoke Rapids.
