Morena Jeaneth Castillo, de 43 años y residente de Roanoke Rapids, falleció el domingo 20 de abril de 2025 en el Centro Médico UNC. Le precedieron en la muerte su madre, Celia Adelsa Castillo Ramírez, y su mascota, Princess.

A la Sra. Castillo le encantaba la jardinería, su familia y sus mascotas, y era miembro de Monte De Sion.

Le sobreviven sus hijos: Tania Castillo (Rony), Anderson Castillo (Merlín), Emerson Castillo (Leslie) y Dianne Castillo, todos residentes de Roanoke Rapids; sus hermanos: Alex Castillo (Lupe) y Ruby Castillo (Lalo), ambos residentes de Baltimore, Maryland; sus nietos: Angie, Ivan, Adelina, William y Mateo; y sus queridas mascotas: Teddy, Lele, Meno y Kitty. El servicio fúnebre se llevará a cabo a las 14:00 h del martes 22 de abril de 2025 en la Funeraria y Cremación Hockaday, ubicada en la Carretera 158 507, Roanoke Rapids, Carolina del Norte. Morena Jeaneth Castillo, 43, of Roanoke Rapids, passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2025 in UNC Medical Center.   She was preceded in death by her mother Celia Adelsa Castillo Ramirez and her pet Princess.

Ms. Castillo loved gardening, her family and pets, and she was a member of Monte De Sion.

Surviving include her children: Tania Castillo (Rony), Anderson Castillo (Merlin), Emerson Castillo (Leslie), and Dianne Castillo, all of Roanoke Rapids; her siblings:  Alex Castillo (Lupe) and Ruby Castillo (Lalo), both of Baltimore, MD; her grandchildren: Angie, Ivan, Adelina, William, and Mateo; and her beloved pets: Teddy, Lele, Meno, and Kitty.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service, 507 Highway 158, Roanoke Rapids, NC.  Burial will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery.  Friends may sign the online register by visiting www.hockadayfs.com .
