Michael Anthony Fisher

Michael Anthony Fisher, 50, of Halifax passed away in his daughters home on Thursday, October 8, 2020.

Mike was born February 12, 1970 in Roanoke Rapids to the late Horace Ray Fisher Sr. and Shirley Diane Carlisle Fisher.

He was preceded in death by his Maternal and Paternal Grandparents, his Uncle Danny, Aunt Doris Marie and Childhood Best Friend; James Matthews (Peanut).

Mike loved his family, especially his Daughter. He worked as a welder for over 25 years. He loved fishing, singing karaoke, playing the guitar/banjo, cooking and spending time with his family and friends.

Mike is survived by his daughter, Haley Brooke Fisher and her mother; Angela Jenkins, both of Halifax, NC. His older brothers; Horace Ray Fisher Jr. and his husband, James Brave, of West Sacramento, California, Dewey Craig Fisher of Pamlico, NC. His niece; Lacey Danielle Fisher and nephew; Joshua Wayne Fisher, both of Roanoke Rapids, NC who he also thought of as his children. His Great Nephew; Braxton Wayne and Great Niece; Storie Leigh. His “Bonus Daughter”; Morgan Perry and her daughter; Isabella. As well as his beloved fiancée; Nichole Shelton. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles and cousins that he loved dearly.

The memorial service will be held at Hockaday Funeral Home at 11am on Saturday, October 24, 2020. The family will be accepting visitors at the home of cousin, Janie Carlisle Patterson, after the service. Her address is 326 Williams Farm Road Halifax, NC.
