Michael Reid Crowder

Michael Reid Crowder, 38, of Roanoke Rapids died Wednesday, January 26, 2022 from injuries he sustained in a vehicle crash.

He was born August 7, 1983 in Halifax County, the son of Michael and Michelle Livesay Crowder.

He loved to fish, and also riding four wheelers and dirt bikes.  He worked for Mike Love in the construction business.  He was a hard working man that enjoyed his work and was proud of what he did.

Michael is survived by his parents, Michael and Michelle Crowder;  brothers, Bradley Crowder, David Crowder, Richard Crowder; sisters, Mary Crowder, Elizabeth Crowder; his good friend, Mike Love; and nieces and nephews, Asia Crowder, Kiera Crowder, Nicole Crowder, Tatiyanna Crowder, Easton High, Colson Crowder, Kenlyn Crowder, Jenna Crowder.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service.  The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Randy Martin presiding.  Interment will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery.
